The Nunnery Gallery London June 2003
The installation 'Flames and the Phoenix' focuses on the effects
of bush fires: on destruction and regeneration. It presents an
array of suspended diffused 'pods', an inverted projection of
fire through the pods, a floor of bark impregnated with the scent
of eucalyptus, and sound by composer Tom Silvester.
